The presentation documents a complex esthetic-zone implant case involving a failing maxillary anterior tooth with gingival recession and compromised facial tissue contours. Initial preoperative photographs demonstrated soft tissue deficiency and esthetic imbalance around the involved tooth.
Diagnostic radiographic and serial CBCT views showed limited facial bone thickness measuring approximately 0.3 mm around the affected tooth.
Treatment involved atraumatic tooth removal followed by immediate placement of a titanium dental implant and provisional restoration to preserve gingival architecture. Additional soft tissue enhancement was achieved through creation of a pouch preparation and insertion of acellular dermal matrix graft material to coronally reposition and augment the facial soft tissue contour.
Sequential clinical photographs demonstrated:
The completed case demonstrated successful integration of the titanium implant with restoration of natural anterior esthetics and improved soft tissue contours.
